Revainrating 5 out of 5

1999-2005 General Motors P-0045/P-0046 code fix. Don't let the dealer steal you.

Before you buy this item put it under your car to make sure you buy the right one, there are 2 different ones. There's this one and there's the round one: ACDelco 214-2149 Professional Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid Valve After doing a lot of research into why my 2002 GMC Yukon 1500 was giving out the code P-0046, I decided to give it a try. I found a "replacement kit" that costs about a hundred dollars and is difficult to install, but if the first "original" flush valve lasts 100,000 miles, well, if I have another truck in another hundred thousand miles, am I happily passed on 12.61 free shipping (pulled from storage as used but was brand new) and exchanged again. The location of this bleeder valve is under the truck, pickup truck, suburban, Yukon, etc. in the rear just in front of the gas tank. It is held by a clip and can be easily removed from the clip. There you disconnect the wiring harness, and then the most difficult thing is to disconnect the hose, take your time and not damage the special connector. I just pulled, pushed, shook, twisted mine and it came off. First put a new one on the bracket and then connect it with hose and cables. 15 minutes maximum with no tools other than a screwdriver and jack. Just drive the car and the computer. will reset itself if that was the problem or you can reset the code if you have a scanner or you can remove the negative from the battery for about 15 minutes to reset the code. Service soon ") does not stop or start again, then there are 2 other options. 1. Fuel cap: ACDelco GT2312 fuel cap. Intake Manifold Purge Valve: ACDelco 214-646 Canister Purge Valve The intake manifold purge valve is easier to install, it is located next to the gas tank remove the cap from the top of the engine locate the breather valve it is on the front left of the engine straight ahead remove it, install a new one and you are done you want to make sure you get it the first time, take all 3, fuel cap and both vent valves VERY RARE, A CANISTER WILL GO BAD SHOULD BE MADE If you have any questions, please feel free to email me.
