I had to bend the center leg a bit so it could hook onto the other half e.g. 1/32 ".
I used this hangar to mount a home made bird house on top of our gazebo. The bird house is decorated with extra pieces of wood so it's quite heavy and I wanted to that it fits snugly in the gazebo. This sturdy hanger is made from heavy duty metal and is the perfect solution. Plus I can easily remove the birdhouse for cleaning at the end of the season I have a few requests to build more birdhouses like mine. I will use the same hangar for this. It adds a touch of professionalism and security to the project.
