Low profile, solid brackets

Low profile so the frame doesn't protrude too far from the wall. They also match the narrow dimensions of our mirror frames. The metal is strong and the two pieces fit together easily. Just what we need for our framed mirror.

Very low tolerance for incorrect attachment

Attention buyers! Unless you have a precise screw to attach these brackets to whatever you're hanging, they won't slip together. There is virtually no backlash tolerance for the screw head. Good luck finding the right screw.

Works well and gets the job done

I used these to build a folding Christmas tree for my wife. She has many of Dickens' Studio 56 country houses. She needed a way to display them and I wanted to keep them in a small space. I built the frame from 1x2 and the shelves from plywood. I used them to attach the shelves to the frame.

Screw heads prevent parts from sliding together

The other reviewer was right - these hangers don't come with screws and I couldn't find one that sits flush with the surface. And without a flat surface, the parts don't slide well over each other. I can get them to connect. Like, like, something like. But with those unique screws it would be 5 stars.

I had to bend the center leg a bit so it could hook onto the other half e.g. 1/32 ".

I used this hangar to mount a home made bird house on top of our gazebo. The bird house is decorated with extra pieces of wood so it's quite heavy and I wanted to that it fits snugly in the gazebo. This sturdy hanger is made from heavy duty metal and is the perfect solution. BADLY CONCEIVED. WILL NOT WORK with most screws

Screw length is VERY short for drywall installation. The supplied screws are suitable for mounting in the frame. The problem is that you will NOT find a screw there long enough to actually get to the wood in the wall and not get caught on the hanger.

Durable material but difficult to use

These clips look very nice and have a great finish. They're thick enough and strong enough to look like they're carrying a lot of weight. Plus, they go together really well—until you try to screw them to the wall. No screws are included and it's almost impossible to find screws that fit flush into the hidden area. Good concept but borderline design.

I thought this would be the perfect hanging shelf solution. I planned on attaching them to the studs behind the drywall. However, the distance between the holes is too small for the mounting screws to cut into the studs. You can barely catch enough "meat" in the hairpin to keep it safe. The instructions recommend turning the bolts at an angle so they cut into the studs. However, the screw heads do not sit flush with the countersunk holes.
