My husband has used this expensive and famous brand of water floss for many years and it is very good. However, he paid more than three times as much as this one. I floss before using this machine. It's amazing what dental floss skips. I wish I had bought one of these a long time ago. Very easy to use although I don't quite understand the instruction manual for the different pulse strengths. Charges with a cable that plugs into a USB port. It seems to last a long time on one charge. I used it for a week on a single charge and expect it to last a few more years. It is very fast to use and does not consume much stored energy. Comparing it with a model from a well-known brand, I can see that there is a certain difference in quality. I doubt this one will last many years, but it can. I think I will. Not as small - almost the same as my husband's, only the charging cable is smaller. Taking it with you on a trip should work, unless you stuff everything in your suitcase and have to step on it to close it.
