When my pressure cooker would not turn on, I consulted the manual and found no useful information. I proceeded to disassemble the bottom panel and found a problem in the thermal fuse. Since I couldn't find a cable with a built in fuse at a reasonable price, I bought this one. 1. Make sure you buy a fuse of the correct voltage, amperage and temperature (look for the label on the blown fuse). 2. If you solder a new fuse into the wire, watch a YouTube demo on how to do it (put the fuse in cold water) - if not, the fuse will overheat and blow. This 10-pack costs less than some individual in-line fuses and works great.
