I have these on three of my cameras. Here in Arizona, all of my hunting takes place on public land, some in areas with heavy foot traffic. I heard that several cameras were stolen in the area but not mine. They are lightweight, easy to use and safe. Working with cameras and surveillance cameras. I recommend that you use the strap that came with the camera to attach it to a tree, fence post or whatever, then put on the camera strap and tighten. It's a shame the hunting community has come to the point of stealing cameras, but at least you can get some comfort from them by leaving your camera there.
