This is a support for drawbars on vans, trailers or many towed platforms. Easy to install (if you choose the right size first. Shaft needs to be measured). Great when parking on gravel, concrete or soft dirt. That would be nice to keep dirt off the jack tube, but I bet it's slippery on wet grass. In fact, this is a piece of flat metal in the shape of skis. It fits mine perfectly. When installed, it simply hangs too low and the drawbar jack is at the top. So I keep it in the back of the truck and install it when I drop the trailer.
