Support really helped me with this purchase. I installed RAM in a 2015 iMac 4ghz 395X and it started crashing heavily shortly after and the machine froze completely with no crash logs being generated. I've found that some others are also having problems with this configuration. I think this combo must be very picky when it comes to RAM tolerances. I've gone through a lot of diagnostics since I recently added a few Thunderbolt peripherals and changed my setup a bit. I isolated it to storage and worked with tech support. I ran a few more diagnostics with tech support and they agreed to do a replacement/RMA. Since I got the RAM replacement, I haven't had any more problems and the machine is absolutely stable. I had no intention of using it, but knowing that OWC would provide good support was the main reason I decided to pay a small premium and get the storage. from them. So I would prefer them over other options as this is an area of the build that is really important and you need good support if you run into problems.
