Review on 🐶 RC Pet Products Baseline Fleece Dog Coat by Fernanda Brown

So far this is the only jacket that has fit my Doberman/Labrador mix puppy perfectly. Where the published measurements match the actual ones. He is tall, slender, long and deep-chested. Most other jackets I've tried fit in two of the three dimensions but usually fail completely in the other. I have two of these jackets, black and red. However, the red color more closely resembles the color of a strawberry milkshake. These jackets are easy to put on and don't seem to stretch too much. I've washed both three times (cold water, gentle cycle and low temperature to dry) with no noticeable shrinkage. These coats are better suited for cool and chilly weather, as an underlay for another jacket, or as a house or car coat. My dog loves them and is still comfortable in them for steps into his mid 30's. I ordered two of these and was about to order another one or two until I saw the new price - holy cow! In just three weeks, the price went from $11.71 to $31.29! I'm sorry but no thanks. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars. Update November: Now that fall is here, I've noticed that this stuff is like velcro for leaves, sticks, blades of grass, or whatever the dog wants to roll up or rub. Or until the dog enters the house where he magically breaks free and falls to the floor and carpet! :(Update July 2019: Just thought I would update the dates for the last three seasons: Fall, Winter and Spring. My dog loves to run, wrestle and ride horses and these coats have held up well! worn on an active, rough, play dog, but there's nothing unusual about that or the manufacturer's fault, most of the stretching is due to the dog's fur "grabbing" the material so it can't easily slide across the surface, especially into a sitting position, which is unavoidable if you don't have wool.
