🐶 RC Pet Products Baseline Fleece Dog Coat Review

I ordered a few different sizes because I wasn't sure if they would fit. I received one as an arm, size 28, which was too long but almost ok. The 22nd was initially tight but stretched out and the 26th went too. My pup, Sarah, a 12 year old rescue lab girl, weighs 50 pounds. This winter has been tough on her skin causing her to lick, scratch, etc. so I've tried to minimize her ability to lick. She seems to like those shirts. I washed them but didn't lay them out to dry so they stretched a bit.

Excellent product. We have a Boston Terrier (29 pounds) and a size 16 fits her perfectly. I really like that the opening for the two front legs is nice and wide so you don't have to fiddle with the pup's front paws to put them on. The head and neck opening is also a good size and stretchy. This fleece will not suffocate your pup. The whole fleece stretches well, regains its shape and becomes very soft. RC Pet Products NO lingering. They may be a little more than other jackets and fleeces for your dog, but in this case you ABSOLUTELY get what you pay for. This jacket is of great quality and is absolutely gorgeous. Fleece of the same quality as Northface and Columbia for people. It is durable and the BEST feature in my opinion is the line hook hole. First impression! I originally bought a size 10 but it came up to about mid-way down my cat's back, so definitely go for the length of the back with this model! If it proves to be too loose on the chest, you can always dress it up. I ordered the right size for my dog. When he wore it, it fit him like a charm. However due to the lack of velcro it was difficult for me to put on and VERY DIFFICULT to get off my dog so I sent it back. I really had to overcompress all the joints of his front leg and his shoulder freed the first leg and back through the leg hole when I took it off. So far this is the only jacket that has fit my Doberman/Labrador mix puppy perfectly. Where the published measurements match the actual ones. He is tall, slender, long and deep-chested. Most other jackets I've tried fit in two of the three dimensions but usually fail completely in the other. I have two of these jackets, black and red.
