Review on Auto Meter 6391 Cobalt Digital Voltmeter Gauge: Accurate Voltage Measurement for Optimal Performance by John Bennett

I bought this 6391 Cobalt Digital Voltmeter Gauge apparently to monitor my truck's charging system. My 1989 Nissan pickup just has a dumb light indicating a problem and I needed a better way to make sure my alternator was actually charging my battery and that the battery was holding a charge. After a few weeks of use I can say that I had no problems. The display is large and bright enough to be seen in broad daylight. It has a cable to connect to the car's headlights, but I didn't connect it and don't know why I need it. I checked out this gauge at my local truck shop and the best they could do was order it for me for $135. I got it from Revain for about $88 plus shipping. There are cheaper counters out there but this brand seems to have a good reputation and as I said I haven't had any issues. I am very satisfied with this meter.
