Lightweight and convenient, sharp lens
This is a budget lens, but has a lot of great features: I also have a Sigma 28-90mm, but I like the 28mm 80 better the best lens. This lightweight lens with good autofocus response and decent close-up range excels in contrast, color reproduction and sharpness. At maximum aperture it's a very useful lens and if you stop it down to f/5.6 or f/8.0 it actually works very well. I like the weight, the feel and the ease of use. I have a lot of lenses, including a lot of Nikkor lenses, but I use this little gem all the time.
