Bought for a 5 year old who likes and loves building different things. We get them often. They are less durable than regular dominoes and you cannot play a game of dominoes with them. Children love colors and play with them. They are lighter than regular dominoes. We've already had a break for one character. They are made of wood - almost homemade. Some of them were glued together, but they could easily be taken apart. If this goes on for a few months and we buy a top quality product, that's probably fine. Considering the fun it is for kids and adults alike, this was a good buy.
