When I read the reviews, the sizing guidelines were all over the map with many saying these were too large! I would agree that these seem to be cut and sized much more like men's pants. Size 28 is quite slim fitting and fits similar to a women's US size 2-4 skinny jean. If you are shorter than about 5'6" you would probably find the legs too long. These do not sit at my waist and are more like hip huggers. The belt drove me nuts until I realized that I needed to cut off the plastic cap covering the loose end of the belt so that I could unthread the belt to put it through the pants. Since most of the belt was made of polyester, I could fuse the cut end with a lighter. While they are a bit tighter than I would like, they are nice pants!
