Quality Dry Brush Set

I just received this dry brush today, and it is very nicely packaged. It appears to be a very nice quality product. I purchased it primarily because I wanted natural bristles. I'm not sure what type of wood it is made of. The wood handle and brushes have a nice satin finish on the wood part. The bristles on the large brush are neither too stiff nor too soft for use on the back and most of the rest of the body; I think it would feel pleasant to use for most people. The small brush has about the same level of stiffness, assuming, due to its size, it would be used primarily for the face. However, I think the smaller brush might be a little too stiff to be used on the face. Personally, I create my own face scrubs from caster sugar (a finer grind than regular sugar), which is nice for a gentle but effective exfoliation for the face, and some oil and essential oils mixed in. Some beauty experts advise against dry brushing the face and decollate (neck and upper chest area) because of dry brush bristles being a little too rough for those areas. My suggestion to the company is to make the smaller brush with softer, finer and hopefully natural bristles if it is intended to be used on the face and decollate. For care of these brushes and to preserve the wood finish: From having used my previous brush for some time now, I think it would be best to separate the brush from the handle, dry the brush and handle off after each use, shake out excess water from bristles, and then set it out to dry, bristles facing down.UPDATE: I just used the brush for the first time, and the bristles on the large brush are a little stiff. I can still use it but would have preferred slightly softer bristles. Definitely need softer bristles for the small face brush.
