Good value for money, the best toolkit to disable broken screens.

Pretty easy to install AFTER you've removed the old screen (which took forever and isn't easy when it's cracked or broken). Note: This is the ONLY glass digitizer that covers the LCD screen, not the LCD screen itself (two separate items, they are not fused together). A few notes. If you need to replace a broken screen, this kit comes with a metal tool that is very helpful for removing and scraping the broken pieces of screen from the old adhesive. The blue plastic strips covering the new screen adhesive are pretty difficult to peel off, so use the long, pointed plastic tool they give you to get under them to remove it. In addition, there are plastic screen protectors on both sides of the screen. So be sure to remove the screen protector from the back before sticking the screen. Hot Tips: The old screen is pretty well glued, so a heat gun or hole punch is needed. Dryer to make it softer. Also, when removing the old screen, be extremely careful with the ribbon cables on the bottom and right side of the screen. I broke the LCD ribbon cable and had to order a replacement LCD screen. iFixIt has a good tutorial. The new replacement was only a few days away, she will come back and update it as the quality deteriorates.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • The list will go on.
