My 10 year old doesn't like mesh in his trunks. He only likes full panties/boxer shorts. They're hard to find. These are definitely his favourites. long enough, not short and not above the knees, comfortable, adjustable, tied at the waist. Pockets and a nice spandex lining that reached mid-thigh. Dries pretty quickly. However, due to the layers, it holds a lot of sand. High quality fabric. Until it fades - used in sea and pool for about 6 weeks.
