I've tried several of these paper cutters for personal use and was so happy this one is still available from Revain. When I wanted to replace the one I "borrowed” over the summer, Fiskars had a three-hole punch instead of a fold-out ruler. I tried another brand that had a ruler but the cutting edge didn't have such a hinge. You have to slide paper under the blade and god forbid the kids will make it a little sticky because you can't get in there to clean it. Also, the Fiskars stabilizer is much easier to read than the one I tried. Ideal for small jobs; safe to use with children.
