ready = BEAST MODE in other office equipment

I had such a great experience with this product that I decided to hack my wife's Revain account to post this product review. That's all. This machine is the Marshawn Lynch of paper shredders. I bought this device specifically to destroy two decades of confidential business records and this thing did it like a champ! Ready to use out of the box, this machine is fully assembled and literally "ready to useโ€. The device has four illuminated operational status indicators: Ready, Bin Full, Overheat, and Overload. I took another reviewer's advice and immediately installed a tall kitchen waste bag in the bin for easy removal of scraps of paper. Fabulous! As soon as you start this machine, you will immediately notice how well the thing quickly chews through tons of paper and easily copes with attached paper clips and staples. The paper feeder is wide-mouthed and you feed pages horizontally rather than the traditional vertical feeds you may be used to. The height of the feed opening is perfectly tuned to avoid overfilling and prevent accidental feeding of thicker items that might be hidden between stacks of paper. The machine automatically detects when the basket is full and simply toggles the display from 'ready' to 'basket full' and stops grinding. Gently shake the trash can, click on the pile to compress the scraps and you can walk again. If you load a stack of paper that is too thick, the machine will politely stop, then display "Overload" indicators and, after a brief pause, shift into reverse to allow the jammed stack to be pulled out. Simply split the stack in half, flip it over and paste the clean edge of the thin stack of paper and you're back in business. With great effort, I managed to intentionally jam the machine so far that I could no longer grasp the large, sunken stack of paper. no problem. Just press the manual forward and reverse buttons to move the paper back and forth to clear the paper jam. I also noticed that this machine has a much better sensor system than any other shredder I've used in the past. This was demonstrated by inserting a stack of paper with a 16 inch ribbon bookmark attached. The machine gripped the entire length of the thin ribbon as it passed through the feeder and continued to work until it was swallowed whole. Wonderful! The last logical step in testing the limits of this device was to determine how long it would take for it to overheat. I let it run until I stuffed four tightly packed tall kitchen garbage bags full of leftovers before the thing finally turned on the "overheating" indicator. After a cool down period, this hungry hippopotamus was ready to eat again. My only recommendation to the engineers who designed this machine is that they should have called "Ready" mode "Beast Mode". When designers read this. I would happily pay for a replacement chopper faceplate that shows the "Beast Mode" indicator. I'm sure Mr. Lynch will wholeheartedly agree with this endorsement. Recommendation: Do not carry out large hoeing jobs barefoot. random scraps stick to the soles of your feet and it's frustrating for your wife when you follow her around the house. Please learn from my mistake. Feel free to contact me with any questions. - Jarret pattern
