I bought this for a 2003 Ford Taurus SES to install a Pioneer aftermarket radio and Rockford Fosgate speakers. You need to watch some YouTube videos on how to get a stock Ford stereo out of the dash. It wasn't easy for me. I ended up buying a stereo removal kit (two U-shaped pieces of metal). You can't pull the brick out with metal clips, the metal is too malleable and doesn't push the clips far enough. With the standard radio gone, you'll need to collect some parts for this Metra kit, so don't hit it with a baseball bat just yet. Metra's instructions aren't bad, but they're not good either. Again, find and watch as many YouTube videos as you can on how to handle a Ford. It took about an hour and a half to stretch the wiring to the trunk. I'm by no means a car enthusiast so I didn't know how to remove the trim and all that. After the work is done, it looks nice on the dashboard. The plastic could be a little firmer and look smoother so I only gave it 4/5 stars.
