All those comments about how it can't stay flat. This is an easy fix and you can do it every time you take it out. To be honest, this has only happened to me once. You just have to be patient. You need to walk along the outer edge of the stairs while straightening and lowering your legs. It's easier with a partner who can do it at the same time as you on the other side, but it's easy to flatten every time you reach him...
