I love this fabric. I use them like normal napkins so as not to throw away the paper napkins. They clean great, bleach well and are a good size to put on your lap. I've also put them in for cleaning in the kitchen, wrapping fresh bread, and just to slide under the cutting board. does everything i need It's not my favorite tea towel, although it does the job quite well. Not sure I'll be using them for nice dinners and company, but for any other use they're perfect. I keep them rolled up in a basket on the breakfast table so the blue stripes are visible. Looks cute and casual, easy to grab. By the way, when I left my parents' house and my grandmother bought me things for the house, she bought this kind of towel for me. She called it a REAL kitchen towel and every home needs them. I came here looking for a replacement and this one fits just right. I've since bought another set so I'll never run out.
