I am a professional photographer. No, I wasn't looking for high quality scans, I was looking for something quick and easy that would work well for the thousands of 'regular' rolls of film I keep. Most of the film is nothing important except memories of a place or people. Was looking for something quick and easy to view pictures. If I stumbled across a gem, I would do a high-resolution scan on another device. If I've found something interesting to share on social media, I might just use the low-resolution scan from that mini scanner. But the quality is so low that I wouldn't share it with anyone. Too much contrast, too much noise, color is nominal if you find the right settings for that particular film. The focus is very soft. Ergonomic design is very poor. Unless you mount the scanner on the box in front of you on your desk, you will need to tilt the device backwards to see the screen clearly. I knew the quality would be far from perfect. I just had no idea how far. Return the scanner within hours of receipt.
