When I first saw the TufSkinz kit for my Silverado's tailgate handle, I was excited to upgrade the look of my truck with real carbon fiber. The installation was fairly straightforward and the end result looked great. However, I soon noticed some issues.

Firstly, the overlay started to peel on one of the edges after only a week of use. I had to remove it and apply extra adhesive to make sure it stayed in place. Secondly, the price seemed a bit steep for what essentially amounts to three pieces of carbon fiber sticker. Lastly, the adhesive residue left behind after removing the overlay was a pain to clean up. Overall, I'm happy with the aesthetic upgrade that the TufSkinz kit provides, but the durability and value for money leave something to be desired.
