Not a common setup, but works great.
It worked very well although I didn't use it in the usual sense. As a radio amateur I have to install radio receivers in my cars from time to time. Icon radios use an RJ45 connector to connect a microphone to the main radio. When removing the control panel, the microphone connection usually has to be expanded as well. This makes the extension very easy to use and the product is of remarkable quality for mobile use.
