UGREEN is quickly becoming my favorite cable brand. They come in plain zip-lock packaging that's easy to open and reuse. They are well built and strong (none have failed yet despite the rather difficult conditions). And its design is simple and elegant. The price is very cheap, especially for 2 packs. And the quality seems very good.

I've been using this cable for 2 weeks now so can't say much about long term use. I rearranged my room and completely forgot the length of the ethernet cable. It was too short and I didn't want to swap the cord for a longer one, so I bought this extender. The cable has decent build quality and I didn't notice any change in internet speeds.

I opened the cable to change it and the twisted pairs are not individually shielded. There is only a plastic shielding sleeve around all the wires. See attached photo. They have a central X-insert that early Cat 6 cables were made with, which is particularly deceptive as the product photos clearly show twisted pairs that are individually foil shielded.

I needed to run ethernet in a room where the current cable wasn't long enough to go around the edges of the room - and if it crosses the floor for one pretty ugly look. So by adding it I was able to place it on walls and connect it to my home WiFi router. work is done. It's higher quality than the cable it extends, which is a plus.

Please note that this cable is limited to 100Mbps, not 1Gbps. If, like me, you have high-speed internet at over 100Mbps, you'll never see it with this cable. Incidentally, this also affects network traffic. In terms of build quality, it feels very solid and looks like it will last. It was my own fault and I should have elaborated on that. But for how much it costs and how slow it is, I had to deduct a star.

It worked very well although I didn't use it in the usual sense. As a radio amateur I have to install radio receivers in my cars from time to time. Icon radios use an RJ45 connector to connect a microphone to the main radio. When removing the control panel, the microphone connection usually has to be expanded as well. This makes the extension very easy to use and the product is of remarkable quality for mobile use.

I recently made some modifications to my entertainment center and noticed that the ethernet cable for the Blu-ray player didn't work long enough was reach. I had to find an extension cord, but I didn't need it too big. It was only 18 inches so I ordered it and tried it. It was the perfect solution and I'm glad my Blu-ray player is updated regularly again. If you don't need an extension that long, this is what you need.

Ugreen make quality products. They are definitely in the budget range but always seem to be well built and perform well. This is no exception. I have several of these. I like to use these extensions as a sort of "security measure" for my devices. I use them on my smart tv or computer and never delete them.
