Review on ⌚ Equus 7210 Hourmeter: Sleek Chrome Design with Black Dial for Precise Time Tracking by Andrew Woodruff

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Revain product just right

I needed a replacement hour meter for my boat that wouldn't cost me an arm or a leg. Through Revain.com I found an Equus 7210 with a black dial and notably a 2 inch diameter and the price was very reasonable - about twenty dollars plus shipping. I checked several auto parts stores and marine outfitters and their boat store prices ranged from $45 to $78. The Equus was easy to install as it had a threaded ring on the back instead of the usual U-bracket, which also made it easier to connect the cables to the gauge without getting in the way of the bracket. I've had the gauge for about two months now and it works well and seems to keep the correct engine time and is not affected by the vibration of the boat's dashboard while underway. So far, this is definitely a commendable product.
