Review on πŸŽ’ Solo New York SGB300-4: Ultimate Black Backpack for Style and Functionality by Joshua Vogel

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Almost perfect for my needs.

Others say this bag isn't as good as it used to be. I had the same bag five years ago. As far as I can tell, this bag has only four differences from the previous ones. First, zippers are different now. They no longer speak solo. Second, the retractable harness now has a "racing stripe". Third, the shoulder strap now has a textured surface to keep it from slipping off your shoulder when you're wearing a slippery nylon jacket. Fourth, there is no longer an external cell phone compartment in the bag. As far as I can tell the construction is made from the same materials as the previous bag. The zippers look the same too. .I like this computer bag very much! The biggest advantage it has over almost every other computer bag I've tried is that it's COST. It bothers me a lot when my computer bag falls, falls and I have to pick it up again to use it. This might be a minor disadvantage for most, but it annoys me. Thanks to the retractable strap mechanism, this bag has a rigid frame in the middle that prevents the bag from falling. The retractable strap works really well and now that it has a structured shoulder pad it stays in place when worn. The only improvement I would make to this bag is to add zippers to the inner pockets. These pockets tend to open up and need to be pushed out of the way when you put your computer in your bag, otherwise they can get caught on the corners of the laptop. That's the only thing I want to improve about this bag. It offers plenty of space and all pockets are easily accessible. The phone pocket was only big enough for a clamshell phone and I wouldn't carry my phone in it anyway. This is a great computer bag!
