Good things first: I got these to increase the height of my frames whose bridge is a bit too wide for my nose. I ordered 2mm thick pads and they were perfect. These nose pads are really good for the comfort they offer. Lightweight, easy to apply (no trimming needed), they just feel nice. They also don't immediately discolor from the oil on your skin. Now for the bad news, the adhesive on these pads only lasts about 2 months and the pads are quite difficult to remove. They stick with a type of tape that prefers to stay behind no matter how carefully you try to peel off the pad and adhesive in one go. I use some slime and cotton swabs to scrape off the remaining glue as it will get on your lenses if you just try to wipe it off with a damp cloth/paper towels and it's difficult to remove from your lenses other than to just wipe it off to wash. them completely with soap and water. Also, the glue won't hold on a hot Florida summer day. The glue will melt and flow onto your face. Here is a personal experience. The pads also start to float from where they were originally placed. They may last longer but my skin is oily and that seems to play a role in the effectiveness of the adhesive hold apart from being great nose pads. I will buy them again if needed.
