This bag is fairly simple and work fine for my purposes. Some things to note are the size and material, however. I assumed that in buying a canvas bag, it would be bit hardier. The material seems like it will last quite awhile, however, the quality of the material is more like nylon canvas than cotton. Perhaps I overlooked this when looking to purchase. The second is that the size is QUITE large. You will have no problem fitting your yoga mat in this bag with plenty of room to spare. In fact, it might be more large than I had hoped for.I give this bag 4 stars because it was shipped to me quickly and squarely works for my purposes. I didn't give it 5 stars simply because it's not the highest quality thing on the market.
