Review on FD2 PV2 CC Nickel Bronze Assembly Adjustable by Amanda Thomas

I bought this drain thinking it would be easiest to connect a PVC sink to our plastic drain pipe. Installation is simple but leaking. The pre-assembled drain leaks between the basin and the sealing sleeve (see photo). Obviously the PVC is not rigid enough and will flex causing leakage through the gasket. Unfortunately, I didn't know until after the installation. We now have a drain leak on the new roof and we need to rip out the roof and downspouts/pipes to replace them and patch the new roof to install the replacement. Contacted Zurn directly and they didn't seem to care much or offer any help. I would recommend choosing cast iron over plastic.
