I thought it was swimsuit material, at least a little compression. You are not. This is a very thin, shiny material that shows every bump and bulge - not for me. And the skirt was ridiculously short - it barely covered my bum even though I'm tall. I'm 5ft 8in, size 16, 220#. I ordered L and XL. I could get a big one but part of the skirt was like this size XL which fitted at the waist but was looser at the leg and baggy at the knees. The skirt was still too short. I will look for it!
