A little bigger than I thought! I have a kitty who often comes to work with me and relaxes in this thing with no problem. The materials are thick and durable! I put it through a hard cycle in the washer and dryer and it turned out to be fine, so it has been washed regularly for several months without compromising integrity. remove if desired or during washing. I use sanitizer on hard items to keep them from bending in the washing machine. The strap is cute and has pictures showing you different ways to thread it through the ring depending on the look you want to get! On my first day of taking it to my vet office (work) everyone including the boys praised it and said it was cute. Everyone asked me where I got this from! Some even had to ask if it was a handbag! I am not a girly girl and this is very acceptable to me and most importantly it keeps my kitty warm. I didn't have it long enough to see what the heat would be like. My only wish is for this piece to have a mesh side window that heavy fabric can be opened from. It seems that it's only very dark in there when you close it completely. And my cat is very small. He sticks his head up, lets me strap him around his head, and then pops his head out of his pocket. It would be nice to have some kind of stand there so he can see better. But I bought it knowing they weren't available, so 5 stars anyway! All in all a great product! I love this shop! And it would fit a normal sized cat! My friend has a disorder and he is just very small! Like 5 pounds. So anything bigger is perfect for when there's room left!
