This is a good dehumidifier for the size and price. It uses about the same amount of water as other dehumidifiers of the same size. I also have a medium sized Ivation IVADM35 dehumidifier running in the same 18.59 square foot room. Both removed about 700ml of water over a 36 hour period, with Ivation removing just a few more ml. The difference might be that the Ivation has a faster fan and airflow, despite being noticeably louder. I can assume most modern electronics have the same inner workings as is, with the exception of the fan. I'll post again when I get better readings. These dehumidifiers are designed for small spaces only. Since they both work in my small 200 square foot space, it's quite comfortable compared to not having a dehumidifier at all. Before I got them, my room smelled like mildew and my shower towel wouldn't dry after hanging in my room all day. I'm sure one of these will work well enough for my room, but I love big things. If you need a dehumidifier for a small space, this dehumidifier or the mid-sized Ivation IVADM35 dehumidifier will do the trick and cost the same. If you have a lot of space, use a compressor dehumidifier or a larger dehumidifier.
