. They clicked when tightened despite using a good torque wrench and stayed at maximum torque.
Two of these bolt heads broke when tightened, although I used a good torque wrench and their torque did not exceed the maximum range. I think I got a bad batch. I ended up using the original water pump bolts after cleaning them up a bit. The difference between the two screws was obvious! As I tightened the new bolts, I could feel them flexing as they were tightened. I didn't notice that when I reused the existing screws.
