Essentially a Smart TV in a Projector!

So I have several projectors and decided to try this one when I saw that it basically had the same features as a Smart TV. Thought it could double as a portable TV if you want. I have several inexpensive projectors that we use to watch movies for the kids and I don't mind if they break. We also have a 1080p projector that we use for adult movie nights where we want to simulate a real cinematic experience, especially with the onset of the pandemic. With the projector we had before, I always had to use my laptop to play the movie and hook it up with an HDMI cable, which meant an extra step and extra gear to carry around. Another option was to use Chromecast and cast from my iPad or iPhone, but then I had to switch Chromecast from the TV. When I came across this projector I decided to give it a try. I didn't have high expectations, thinking the apps would lag or the picture quality wouldn't be 1080p. I am happy to say that I was pleasantly surprised! The pictures show what the projector itself looks like. Pretty compact and light (much lighter than the one we had before ordering, that's Yaber btw). This projector also has something no other projector has - a removable air filter! I haven't used it long enough to get dirty, but I suspect you can dust it off and reinstall it for better performance and less chance of parts overheating. This also keeps the inside of the projector clean. However, it can be installed with all the typical theme options, which is great. The remote control is also compact, responsive and well made (runs on 2 AAA batteries, not included). In terms of brain and software, as you can see from the images, it looks like a typical smart TV screen. Apps load quickly and without lag. A good selection of apps and almost all the subscription apps we usually use are already included. My old project had manual keystone correction, but this one is digital (see attached images). It is also possible to connect all types of Bluetooth devices and different picture modes (soft, bright, game, cinema, etc.). I've attached a small video clip from a YouTube video being played by the projector app itself to show the quality. There's also a light in the background, and the brightness is maintained even though the light is on. The volume is loud enough, but if you want to use this for home theater you'll need to invest in multiple external speakers anyway. No projector is loud enough to emulate a decent home theater experience in the audio department. This is a really good smart projector for the price. It offers everything you need and then some while still maintaining high quality without crashing or freezing due to the hardware not being able to run the software properly. Hope that helps.
