Review on πŸ”’ Belkin 4-Way Privacy Screen Protector: Enhanced Privacy for Apple iPod Touch 4th Generation by Cindy Tapia

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good product if you don't mind a little distortion.

The first thing that struck me about this protector is that it's thick. In fact, it's so thick that I doubted the touchscreen would respond with such a thick coating; but I was pleasantly surprised. The screen was just as sensitive as without the protector and even more responsive than with some of the other protectors I've tried. As for the "privacy" factor, yes, this screen protector makes it very difficult to see from any side or top (facing the iPod). I've never used a privacy screen like this, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but after looking at the iPod from different angles, I'm satisfied that the privacy screen actually works. its function. As mentioned in several other reviews, adding a privacy screen distorts the image a bit. I could tell a difference in how the screen looked, and when I tried to read a book on my Kindle app, I felt very uncomfortable doing so. Two of my teenagers said they had no problem browsing any of the apps, and while reading was "different" with the Kindle app, they didn't find it difficult. Overall I think this product deserves four stars because it really does what it promises. The screen protector appears to protect the screen better than other models, and in fact it prevents others from seeing what's on the screen from any angle other than straight ahead.
