When I bought this product I was amazed by the USB port solution. I bought 2 for me and my wife. I use my tablet a lot more than they do, so I knew I would find faults if there were any. I did a great job on the first day. The next day the problems started. I had an iPhone connected and a CAC reader. I connected the internet from the phone to the tablet. After about 30 minutes, the phone disconnected and reconnected. I thought it was the cable (which was brand new) so I replaced it with a new cable. All the same. Now I knew it wasn't a cable. Then I found that the modem didn't have any ports for (just to take that into account when in doubt) so I hooked up WiFi and plugged in my external hard drive. I now have both the hard drive and a CAC reader connected to WiFi. Everything was anyway, the devices disconnected by themselves. At that point I knew what the problem was, but I decided it was just one bad problem in the bundle. I went home and took my wife to work the next day (He was still in the box) He did the same. Worked fine for a few days and then the problems started. At this point, having worked in IT for most of my life, I knew that these items had cooling issues in my opinion The processor is not cooling enough causing the product to reboot/reboot. I've never tried it with just one connected element because I didn't buy it for that. Overall it's a great concept and design. You need to solve the cooling problem, i would buy another one if they updated the design, but from the looks of it, don't waste your time and money buying this item. I have Prime so this was an easy return for me.
