Purchased early August 2020 Love the fit of these shoes and have used them in about 50 games. They were comfortable. I immediately didn't like the simplicity of the shoe and wrote about it in NB. Previous styles had "N" stitching and other stitching on the upper, which I've always liked. The no-sew upper and low-profile look are just lackluster. The new fabric tongue and mouth piping catch dirt and make it difficult to clean the shoes without soaking them in soap and water (I haven't done that yet). We like to clean and polish our referee shoes for tournaments and other matches, but the fabric leaves them dirty. THE WORST PART. Just this weekend I noticed that the fabric on the back of the heel is already frayed! This is totally unacceptable but my return window was only 1 month after purchase. I see no prospects for NB to return to the best shoes I loved so now I'm going to NEW BRAND even though New Balance offers the comfort I'm used to. to.
