Review on TP Solar10 Portable Maintainer Cigarette Alligator by Jeff Jackson

I bought this to keep my old fj40 charged while it's sitting. Sometimes I ride for weeks between rides and always find my battery dead, especially in the winter. Ever since I've been using this solar panel for continuous charging, I've had a fully charged battery every time. I lean the panel against the window, where it gets a good amount of sunlight, and plug it into the cigarette lighter. Even through a tinted window, the panel generates enough power to keep my battery charged. The panel construction appears solid and of high quality. This is a tough slab and I think it will crack and break if mishandled. Suckers are nonsense. My initial plan was to attach the panel to the window with suction cups but they don't work at all so I had to lean them against the bars in the window. The panel has two ways of connecting to the battery: through the cigarette lighter plug or directly to the battery with clamps. Make sure you unplug the panel before starting the car, although I don't think the charger should be left plugged in while driving. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who needs a convenient way to continuously charge their battery.
