working. The original battery in our Roomba 980 lasted several years. It got to the point where I wouldn't go back to base and sometimes ran for a while, sometimes just 10 or 20 minutes. The solution was that we needed a new battery and after researching I got that. Advantages. Our rumba is now returning to base. The price was good. We didn't get more than 30 or 40 minutes of runtime when fully charged. Our original battery lasted twice as long as when it was new. Overall, that's probably fair for the money, but I was expecting a longer runtime. I guess it doesn't matter since she comes back, attacks and leaves and I don't do anything. If she does this every 40 minutes instead of 1 hour and 30 minutes, nothing changes for me. I don't expect this battery to last as long as the original battery, but we'll see. A few months without any problems.
