The app and Bluetooth are great, but the sensors are very slow to respond to temperature changes. As a test I put the sensor in the freezer and it took almost 5 minutes for it to register 32 degrees which is the lowest temperature ever. read. The next day I used it in my electric smoker which had already been running for about 30 minutes and again it was taking a long time to come up to temperature. Is this common with these probes or did I get a poor quality pair? Smoking is a long process so it's not a 'real' problem and the sensors seem accurate when they finally hit temperature, but it would be nice if they were temperature sensitive. change faster.
