I have a 40 lb dog named Cooper and he is about 2 years old. I've had him for 3 months, he was the same as me, regardless. You could call him and it was a waste of time. I have looked at and read many well known brands of training collars. The range was the best bang for the buck. $50 for PetSpy was the best $50 I've ever spent on a Cooper. I used it a total of 2 times in one day for one day. He will come to me every time. If he sees a squirrel it would be nice if he left, but not now, I call him, he stops and comes towards me. We walked about 1/4 mile to one of the neighbors with no training collar or leash. I will and will recommend the PetSpy 1100 Training Collar to my friends. Before use, read the instructions and familiarize yourself with how the product works. The training experience should be fun for the dog, not a punishment. Good luck with your training process.
