I used to use these pads when I was in high school 20 years ago so it was good to have something that reminded me of that time in this case. The look is a surefire talking point when you take your iPad to a coffee shop on a Saturday morning. It's durable and should offer reasonable protection for your iPad Mini 5 from small drops (I won't drop mine to review). The fact that it hibernates when you close it, like official cases do, is great since it's less than half the price of an official Apple case (and it should offer more protection, too ). You can't go wrong with this. one.
