Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is top notch and I recommend the product for purchase.

I tested it when I bought it: the specimen was very successful in terms of sharpness. Focus is normal. They scared a little HA on an open hole, but this is still a feature of the model, not an instance! When buying, I was very afraid to be deceived in expectations during practical use, and not during testing. The very first session left behind uncertainty and doubts. I was struck by the softness of the picture, some brevity and completeness. The transitions in the blur zone just made me fall in love with him from the first day! I smeared the focus a little out of habit (very small flu - focused on the central point). Now I choose the nearest focus point and move the device to the minimum - a matter of habit. The focusing speed both indoors and outdoors is quite high, but loses 24-70, 24-105, 50 1,4. For the first time I didn’t have time for the child - now I got used to it! But it should be noted tenacity on contrasting objects, including in dim lighting! The picture gives an indescribable impression and allows you to make a real work of art out of an ordinary frame. Color rendition and microcontrast are on top - photos do not require any processing - there is simply nothing to improve! A hole (it's just a bottomless hole) allows you to embody all creative ideas - a truly creative lens! Once again, I note such a pleasant softness in the blur zone, regardless of the objects that have fallen. I shoot on 5D mark II - the optimal focal length for a portrait (from full-length to facial). I don’t even remember about money after use - it’s worth the money if you want to get the best and an extra ten will not make the weather!

Pros
  • Gorgeous blur character in the blur zone The softness of the picture combined with sharpness from 1.2 Accurate color reproduction! Accurate and tenacious focusing! High micro contrast High resolution Small depth of field and, as a result, high creative possibilities! Constructive The optimal focal length for portrait shooting on a full sensor (this is not really a plus for this lens)
Cons
  • The weight The focusing speed is not high enough, but it doesn’t matter for portrait, staged shooting I almost forgot for all the pluses of HA on an open hole!
