Review on πŸ’» HUIISUOC 17.3" Portable Monitor: Full HD, Flicker-Free Display, Built-In Speakers by Junior Batiste

There are no drivers for USB Display Input for Windows.

This monitor features a USB-C input only for power, a second USB input for power and display, and an HDMI mini-in. Due to the presence of a USB input for power and display, you can assume that there are drivers that will allow a Windows computer to connect to this monitor as a display device via the USB-C input used for power and display should be used. However, the monitor comes without a driver. There are no instructions on how to obtain drivers and no support site with drivers to download. If you google the name or model number (which is almost impossible to find), nothing comes up at all. There is no manufacturer's website and in general it is not entirely clear who the manufacturer is. When trying to connect a monitor to a Windows device via the USC C's display input, a pop-up warning appears that the USB-C device is defective. I bought 3 of these units and they all give the same result so most likely this is not a problem with the particular monitor I bought. The device error alert is displayed every 2 minutes until you turn it off. After a whole day trying to find drivers for this monitor I gave up. Connecting the monitor to USB C for power and also connecting it to a mini HDMI input works adequately as a second monitor but you always have to carry around two separate cables and this also prevents you from using the HDMI output of the Laptops to use for connection .third monitor. I've had many portable second monitors that I connect to my laptop via USB-C for display and power. If you are looking for a portable second monitor larger than 17 inches, I would not recommend this device as there are many that will properly plug into USB C for both power and display.
