We quickly ordered this fingerprint tree for our event after seeing it at a friend's children's party. Unfortunately we didn't read the reviews beforehand. Of course, our wooden canvas arrived carelessly tri-folded with four heavy folds. At first we thought it was useless. But before sending it back we tried steaming it and it worked to remove or at least soften the worst of the wrinkles. (We used a portable steamer, but a warm iron applied gently to a damp cloth might also work.) We then dried the canvas between heavy books and then stretched it over a cardboard backing. After that, the canvas was slightly crumpled, but serviceable. Although canvas was ultimately used and we liked the fingerprint tree that resulted from our event, we are still disappointed with this product. It was sent randomly: folded and disregarded as this is a presentation item that should be sent flat with a hard backing. We saved him with just a little ingenuity and an hour's effort. It should not be. Also note the actual size of the product. Some product photos are misleading and may give the impression that the product is much larger than it really is. Of course we were surprised how small the screen was and how small the tree was.
