Please note this wine rack is exactly 6.5 inches deep between rings. Unfortunately, this means you always have to be very careful when placing and positioning any standard (750ml) wine bottle ONLY to lay flat on the shelf. And if you wiggle it slightly as you remove the bottle, expect one or more of the remaining bottles to slide forward (and tip up) off the rear ring and/or fall back off the front. ring (and tilt down). If they redesigned this otherwise well-designed wine rack so that the distance between the rings was only 5.5 inches, for example, the problem could easily be fixed and the rack would still be reasonably stable.
