I haven't run cross country in decades. I bought this as a casual shoe and was impressed with the fit and flexibility. I had only had two months in this shoe when I noticed that both socks were coming off the front of each shoe. Looks like I'm about to give Shu Gu a deal now in hopes of salvaging that purchase. They were cheap shoes but I expected more than a few weeks past the return window before they fell apart. From now on I'll stick with shoes made in the USA, which I've been a fan of for many years. New Balance risks losing customers in all of its lines if it dumps junk like this import on the market.
