The rubber profile in the toe area offers good protection against dew and dirt. Good traction. Arch support is minimal but I wear special insoles so this wasn't an issue for me. You get what you pay for. Pros: They're comfortable (like most new scales) They're CHEAP (pay >$60) Cons: No grip, they're fine on dry ground/floors, but if there's water, BE CAREFUL! Even the old concrete sidewalks felt slippery after a light rain.
